Some items will only be shipped at certain times of the year, these items and the expected start of dispatch are:
- Potatoes, from January (available to pre-order from December)*
- Spring onions, from January (available to pre-order from December)*
- Garlic & overwintering onions, from mid-October (available to pre-order from August)*
- Bare root stock (fruit & hedging), from mid-November (available to pre-order from August/September)*
* Until stocks last.
Please bear in mind that all of the above is dependent on weather; with bare root stock for example it must first get cold enough for leaves to come off plants so they can go dormant before being pulled up and shipped out.
In all cases, we will only start to dispatch once we are confident that it is the right time to be planting out. Do note that seasons have changed quite dramatically in the last number of years, in many cases we have been pushed on about a month after when we would have previously expected to be able to plant, and unfortunately it seems that this trend is set to continue.
